Contagious Acts

After I saw the music video I Run To You by Lady Antebellum it inspired me to do something nice for someone. In the music video one person does something nice for someone and then that person did something nice for another person it. I tried to figure out something that I could do to help another person out or just be able to pick someone’s day up if they aren’t having the greatest day. This is now why I have a weekly ritual where every Sunday I go to the famous Starbucks to get myself a coffee and then I will buy the person behind me whatever they are drinking. This is an act of kindness and just in general a good deed for the day. After doing something nice for someone else you feel good about yourself because you might have either helped them in somehow or just made their day, either way I think it is contagious just like a parasite would be.

Parasites can go from one person to another and constantly continue spreading just like in the movie Shivers; everyone at the hotel was eventually infected with the parasite. After becoming infected they felt different about themselves or they were a different person in a way. This is just like doing something nice for someone it usually is contagious and continues throughout the day, hoping the person you did something nice for would do something nice for someone else and etc. Maybe even after people read this blog it will inspire whoever to do something nice for someone else and this will continue throughout the world.
